Duke Mckenzie's amateur career started aged 13 at the famous Sir Phillip Game ABC. The youngest of the Mckenzie boxing family, his early career begun very poorly with little signs that he would go on to become one of the country's most successful boxers. It wasn't long before Mckenzie became British and European champion with world titles to follow in 3 separate weight divisions - Fly weight, Bantam weight and Super Bantam weight. Under the guidance of Mickey Duff and trainer Collin Smith, Dukes career soon flourished and he has been awarded an MBE as a reward for his contribution to the sport.

Today Mckenzie's driving force as a Mind ambassador is to promote good mental health and is single handedly his most rewarding job to date. By day Duke can be found at his pride and joy, the Duke Mckenzie gym in Crystal Palace and by night, an boxing analyst currently with ITV.
